IIJ Thailand office holds its first security event, "IIJ Secure Future Summit 2026".

On September 3, 2026, IIJ Global Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IIJGSTH) held the "IIJ Secure Future Summit 2026 - Unlock Business Potential, Secure Your Future" at Grande Centre Point Ploenchit Bangkok in Bangkok.

This event isIIJGSTH hosted its first security event in Thailand..

On the day of the event, in addition to existing customers, we were also joined by companies that had not previously done business with IIJGSTH, and approximately 30 customers from 25 companies attended.

IIJGSTH, Fortinet Thailand, and AWS gave presentations focusing on cloud security and SASE, covering the latest security trends and AWS developments.

A day to consider security in the cloud era

The "IIJ Secure Future Summit 2026" was held with the aim of encouraging participants to consider the security environment surrounding businesses amidst the widespread use of cloud and SaaS, and the advancement of AI.

The event's theme is "Unlock Business Potential, Secure Your Future."

Focusing on cloud security and SASE, we presented various perspectives on current security trends, incident patterns, security concepts in cloud environments, and the future of IT environments utilizing AWS.

The event was conducted in Thai and was attended primarily by customers from within Thailand, including decision-makers and key personnel at the manager level and above.

With the participants welcomed, the event finally began.

Attendees gathered at the venue, Grande Centre Point Ploenchit Bangkok, even before the event began.
After all participants completed registration and entered the venue, the event started at 9:30 AM.

As this was IIJGSTH's first event as a sponsor, the organizing members confirmed their respective roles as they proceeded with the event.

At the venue, information was shared on topics such as cloud security, SASE, and AWS through each session, and participants were seen listening attentively to the presentations.

In addition, we provided time between sessions for participants, speakers, and IIJGSTH staff to socialize while enjoying light refreshments.

For this event, we received sponsorship from Fortinet Thailand and Serverworks. Additionally, Fortinet Thailand and AWS provided valuable support by speaking at sessions.

From Fortinet Thailand, Channel Systems Engineer Piyapong Kenluem gave a presentation on the topic of "Beyond Connectivity: Securing Access to Cloud Workloads with FortiSASE."

As the use of cloud services becomes more widespread, companies are required to implement security measures that encompass not only network connectivity but also users, devices, and access destinations.

In this session, we introduced concepts and solutions for securely accessing workloads on the cloud, focusing on FortiSASE.

Expanding Cloud Utilization from AWS Thailand Region

From AWS, Charles Rudolph from Partner Development, ASEAN, took the stage to speak.

I gave a presentation with Thawatchai Rodim, Solution Architect at IIJGSTH, on the theme of "Unlocking the Full Potential of AWS in Thailand: Hybrid Cloud & AI Solutions."

We introduced the expanding possibilities of cloud utilization brought about by the deployment of the AWS Thailand Region, as well as digital transformation, local compliance, and performance optimization within Thailand.
Furthermore, we discussed future cloud utilization, including Hybrid Cloud and AI, and explained how companies should leverage AWS.

We also introduced **"IIJ Managed Cloud for AWS"**, which we offer in collaboration with Serverworks.

IIJ and Serverworks introduced their combined strengths as a service that supports companies' cloud utilization, from AWS design and construction to operation.

IIJGSTH shared insights on the future of security and customer dialogue.

From IIJGSTH, Solution Architects Chaiwat Saengsomsuan and Nuttawut Khiawai took the stage and delivered a keynote speech on the theme of "Securing Cloud Transformation with Trusted Professionals."

With the widespread adoption of cloud-native technologies, SaaS, and AI, the IT environment of businesses is undergoing significant changes.

In the session, taking these environmental changes into account, we introduced the latest security trends and incident developments, and explained the background and thinking behind why SASE is attracting attention now.

Furthermore, we introduced IIJ's security products and services, including specific use cases.

Taking this first step towards future endeavors

This "IIJ Secure Future Summit 2026" was the first security event hosted by IIJGSTH.

Many customers participated, and we were able to share information on important topics for considering a company's IT environment, such as cloud security, SASE, AWS, and AI.

Furthermore, one of the significant aspects of this event was the opportunity to hear about the challenges our customers are currently facing and their expectations for the future IT environment through direct conversations with them, in addition to the presentations.

While the use of cloud computing, AI, and SaaS is advancing, the security environment surrounding businesses is also constantly changing. IIJGSTH will support the IT environment of our customers in Thailand by leveraging the technological capabilities cultivated by the IIJ Group, as well as through collaboration with partner companies including Fortinet, AWS, and Serverworks.

Furthermore, using this event as an opportunity, we will continue to hold events and seminars to deliver the latest IT and security information to our customers in Thailand.
