NAL Solutions and IIJ Global Solutions Vietnam Form Strategic Partnership

Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, TSE Prime: 3774) is a leading Internet connectivity and comprehensive network solutions provider in Japan. IIJ Global Solutions Vietnam Company Limited (hereinafter, IIJ GS Vietnam, a cloud and security services provider), a wholly owned subsidiary of IIJ, and NAL Solutions have signed a cooperation agreement. Through this partnership, IIJ Managed Cloud Services (a managed service solution for AWS) will be introduced.

The purpose of this collaboration is to support NAL Solutions in developing innovative projects and improving product quality in areas such as web systems, mobile, AI & big data, IoT, and AR/VR.

Background and challenges of NAL Solutions

NAL Solutions has been using AWS for the past seven to eight years, and the number of accounts has increased to about 10. As a result, cost optimization has become difficult and the workload has increased.More efficient cost optimization was required.

Additionally, NAL Solutions needed AWS enterprise-level support. Their main needs were: 

1. Although we are actively adopting new AWS services, documentation is often lacking, so direct support from AWS is effective.
2. During the development process, security-related issues or warnings from AWS can arise that can prevent service use, so direct collaboration with AWS is essential for rapid resolution.
3. In the event of a major AWS infrastructure outage, priority support is required to quickly restore the project environment.

However, AWS enterprise support was very expensive, placing a significant burden on NAL Solutions.
